Complex Building //
Special
topics for the
review on November 7th:
Mandatory //
Title
and main intention (motto)
· Main (sustainable) aspects and their effect on your
building design
· Program:
Functions (with approx m2), number of dwelling units / residents (m2 private vs
common space)
Further
developed design proposal //
Work through the design and make it more clear
· Jump in scale: From the urban integration to material
and colour (infrastructure, public/private, transitions, construction, façade
etc)
· Site model (optional scale) + working model in a larger scale. Everyone
must present at least one model
· Site plan and section 1:200
· Plans, sections and sketches
Try to
be as precise as possible - with a message as sharp as a knife - on //
Which topics form the character of your project through all the scales
and layers?
Wich qualities are particularly important for the residential group you
aim to reach? And which architectural measures / solutions do you use in
order to achieve these qualities? (How may architecture support your
intentions?)
· What kind of organisational model do you imagine for your reception
centre (and how does this differ from the ‘normal’ model today)?
· If possible (and perhaps included in the previous point), say something
about how you deal with the political and economic conditions for the present
reception system in terms of cost- and space efficiency.
Digital or
pinned up presentation – feel free!
The schedule for the review will be
posted on the blog next week.
